We often don’t pay attention to the little signs that people give us, perhaps because we’re too preoccupied with our own issues and thoughts, or too trusting of everyone’s intentions. But when people show us who they are, we must believe them. Everyone gives us signals about their true nature, and how they will behave in the future. Whether it’s a casual comment, a manipulative action, or a repeated negative behavior, it’s important to pay attention to these red flags and take the time to process what they mean.  

 Recognizing these signs and addressing them helps us avoid getting taken advantage of, or hurt in the future. People often show their true colors over time, but having an understanding of how they may behave in the future can be very beneficial. It’s important to stay aware of the type of behaviors people display, and be sure to take the time to look for any red flags.
